Pricing and fees
For brands
- Requests and quotes are free.
- You pay the creator's listed rate plus a 15% ICONS platform fee, shown as its own line on the quote before you sign. AI production is optional and quoted separately, with no platform fee on it.
- Payment is taken only after everyone has signed the exact quote.
For creators
- Joining and listing are free.
- You keep 100% of your listed rate: the ICONS platform fee is paid by the brand, on top. You are paid after the post is verified.
- If you work with an agency, its commission comes out of your share at the rate you signed.
How suggested rates are worked out
- Posts: we take the median views of your recent posts in that format (up to 20 posts, 7 to 90 days old, paid boosts left out) and price them per 1,000 views: $30 for an Instagram Reel, $25 for an Instagram post, $15 for a story and $25 for a TikTok video. The result stays between $250 and $50,000. With fewer than 5 comparable posts we don't suggest a number and the post is priced by quote.
- Likeness license: a starting price of $500 for video or $300 for images, for one set of assets, one brand, the brand's own organic channels, US use and 30 days. Paid ads, wider territory and longer terms are priced higher. It does not depend on follower count.
- ICONS production: $600 for a 30-second video package with script and final-cut approval and two revision rounds.
Suggested rates are a starting point, not guaranteed earnings. Creators can change any rate.
Cancellations
Before payment, the brand or the creator can cancel and nothing is charged. After payment, ICONS settles any cancellation under the payment and cancellation schedule everyone signed for that booking.
How audiences are verified
An audience number counts as verified only when the ICONS team has reviewed evidence from the creator. Numbers read from public profiles are shown with their source and the date we read them, but they are not counted as verified. Connecting an account directly to ICONS is not live yet in the pilot.
What brands book on ICONS
Who can join, and where
Who can join: Anyone 18 or older can create a creator, brand or agency account today. No invite is needed. The pilot is for non-explicit commercial campaigns.
Where: Pilot country: United States. Bookings are priced and paid in US dollars. A license can still cover North America or worldwide use, at a higher rate. If you are outside the US you can create an account now, but bookings and payouts outside the US are not available during the pilot.
Payments run on Stripe, agreements are signed electronically on ICONS, and every creator passes an identity and age check before paid work. About ICONS
