AI likeness consent: what creators actually agree to
On ICONS, consent to use a creator’s likeness is given per campaign, signed personally by the creator, and bound to the exact quote it covers. If anything in the quote changes, a new version is created and earlier acceptances no longer count. The creator approves the script before anything is generated and the final file before it is released.
What consent covers
One brand and product, the named assets, channels, territory and dates, and the allowed modalities (face, body, voice). Nothing outside the signed quote is covered.
What signing up does not do
Creating a profile only lets ICONS import public profile details. It does not license your likeness, and nothing is public or bookable until you publish.
Records
Quotes, signatures, approvals and posts are hashed and linked, so every use can be traced to the exact terms that allowed it.
Questions
Can my agency consent for me?
No. An agency can manage requests and the commercial terms it is authorized for, but the likeness consent is always signed by the creator personally.
What if a brand changes the brief?
Any change to the quote creates a new version, and earlier signatures no longer count. New concepts, languages or outputs need a change order.
