Book celebrities and well-known talent, with consent on the record

To book a celebrity on ICONS, request them through their profile, where their agency usually handles terms. You can license their likeness for one named brand and use, commission content, and buy posts on their own accounts, each priced separately. The celebrity personally signs the likeness consent and approves the final content. ICONS only lists people who have joined themselves.

What you can book

  • A likeness license for named assets, one brand and product, stated channels, territory and dates (by default organic brand channels, US, 30 days from final delivery).
  • Content production, by ICONS with approved vendors or by the talent’s own team or agency.
  • Posts on the celebrity’s own accounts, with disclosure.
  • Extra rights such as paid ads, exclusivity, a longer term or a wider territory, each quoted as its own line.

What ICONS does not book

In-person appearances, events, speaking engagements and personalised video messages are not ICONS products. ICONS also does not create pages for, or sell access to, celebrities who have not joined: if someone is not in the directory, they are not available here.

Working with agencies and managers

Most well-known talent is represented. On ICONS, an agency acts only inside the authority the talent signs in a representation grant, and its commission is split from each payment at the signed rate. The talent keeps a veto over new uses, and the agency can never sign the likeness consent for them.

How pricing works

Each creator sets their own rates and every line on their profile says what it includes. ICONS suggests starting rates when a creator joins (post rates come from the creator’s typical recent views; with fewer than 5 comparable recent posts a post is quote-only), and the creator accepts or edits them before anything is public.

A brand’s total is itemised: the likeness license, any posts, any extra rights (paid ads, exclusivity, a longer term or a wider territory), the production price and the ICONS platform fee. The platform fee is charged to the brand, never taken from the creator’s rate; the pilot default is 15% of the license, post, extra-rights and creator- or agency-production fees, and it is not applied to the price of ICONS-produced content, tax or refunds (see the Terms).

Requests are free. Nothing is charged until every party has signed the exact quote. Each part is paid out to the creator when it is earned, and 20% of posting pay is held until the post has stayed live for the agreed period (30 days by default).

Consent, verification and safety

  • Identity, age and authority over the listed accounts are checked before any paid work. Brands see that the check passed, never the documents.
  • The creator personally signs the likeness consent for each campaign. An agency can negotiate terms it is authorised for, but it cannot sign the consent for the creator.
  • Scripts are approved before anything is generated, previews are watermarked, and only the exact approved final file is released.
  • No general AI model training, no reusable likeness or voice models without a separate written consent, and no perpetual license by default.
  • Imported audience numbers are labelled as imported, with their source and age. Views are counts, not unique people, and reach is never guaranteed.

Where it is today

Status: ICONS is an invite-led US pilot for verified adults (18+) and non-explicit commercial campaigns, priced in US dollars. Payments, e-signatures and identity checks are live: brands pay through Stripe, and creators are paid through Stripe after the work is verified.

Questions

How much does it cost to book a celebrity on ICONS?

The talent or their agency sets the rates, often as “quote only”. The brand also pays the ICONS platform fee (pilot default 15% of the license, post, extra-rights and talent- or agency-production fees) and any ICONS production price. Requests are free.

Can I use AI to put a celebrity in my ad?

Only with their signed, campaign-specific likeness license. It names the brand, product, assets, channels, territory and dates, and the celebrity approves the script and the final file.

Can I request a celebrity who is not on ICONS?

No. ICONS only books people who have joined and published a profile.

Does a license include an endorsement or a post?

No. A license is not a post and a post is not an endorsement. Each is a separate, priced line.
