Why creators are verified before paid work
ICONS checks a creator’s identity, age and authority over their accounts before any paid work, so a brand knows the person signing is the person depicted. Brands see that the check passed, never the documents. Imported social numbers are labelled as imported and are never presented as verified.
What is checked
That the creator is an adult, is who they say they are, and owns or is authorized to manage the accounts they list. For virtual personas, that the claimant owns the persona rights.
Who sees what
Identity files are restricted. Brand and agency finance roles never see them.
