Licensing a virtual influencer or AI persona
Virtual influencers and AI personas can be booked on ICONS like real creators, and are always labelled as virtual personas. Before a persona can be booked, its rights owner claims it and proves they own the persona rights. Brands then license it for a named use, commission content and buy posts on the persona’s own accounts, each priced separately.
Why ownership is checked first
A persona has no face of its own to consent, so the person or company that owns it has to. ICONS asks for proof of rights before the persona is published.
Clear labelling
Directory filters and booking pages mark virtual personas, so a brand always knows whether it is booking a real person or a persona.
Questions
Can an agency represent a virtual persona?
Yes. The agency adds it to its roster, and the rights owner claims it and signs.
