Trybe, Insense, Billo, Collabstr and ICONS: which fits what you need

ICONS is not a UGC marketplace. It licenses a real creator’s likeness for AI-generated content and books posts on the creator’s own accounts, with consent signed for each campaign. If you need many UGC videos or creator ads at scale, Billo, Collabstr, Insense and Trybe are built for that and are much larger today. If you need a named person’s likeness in AI content with written consent, ICONS fits.

Updated

Choose by what you need

  • Choose Trybe if you want creators paid on performance and their videos run as Meta ads. Trybe says “Creators earn based on performance.”
  • Choose Insense if you want UGC plus influencer posts, product seeding, Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads, with a managed service option.
  • Choose Billo if you want UGC ads, organic posts and partnership ads with data-led briefs, or a managed service.
  • Choose Collabstr if you want to search a very large pool of creators with listed prices and reviews, and run campaigns and payments in one place.
  • Choose ICONS if you want to license a named creator’s likeness for AI content, with per-campaign consent, script and final-file approval, and no AI model training without separate written consent.

Where ICONS loses today

  • Size: ICONS is an invite-led US pilot with a small roster. Billo, Collabstr and Insense say they work with thousands of brands.
  • Volume UGC: ICONS is not built for ordering many UGC videos at once.
  • Ad tooling: Trybe, Insense and Billo say they run creator content as Meta or TikTok ads. ICONS treats paid ads as a right in the license.
  • Track record: ICONS is new and has no public case studies yet. Billo, Collabstr and Insense publish case studies or customer stories, and Trybe lists brands that use it.
  • Reach: ICONS is US-only for now.
